Kate Lynch

Kate Lynch is a freelance composer, vocalist and performer. In the 90’s Kate enjoyed a career as a choreographer and dancer.  She performed throughout Minneapolis as well as New York (DTW, St. Marks Church, Brooklyn Academy of Music) and Miami (Miami Lights Project).  She has danced with a variety of choreographers such as Bill T Jones, David Dorfman and Shawn McConneloug as well as with the site-specific dance collective she co-founded called P.O.L.K.A.

Around 2000 Kate took a break from the dance world ad moved into music. Since then, she has been recording and performing live music.  Past projects include the band Triangle Park, the Elton Show and Here It is with Melissa. In addition to studio work as a commercial vocalist (clients include Toyota, Nationwide, Pepsi, etc..) Kate has composed works for dance and theater.

Combining Kate’s history of teaching creative movement to three year olds, playing Low-Fi rock in clubs and choreographing, working on the Clementown project is a natural and most enjoyable progression towards Nirvana.
